remembrance
based on the last post, remembrance was written for remembrance day 2019. it is scored for lower band with the possibility of one cornet to the whole section playing the last post over the simple accompaniment. it has proved to be a very effective tribute.

written for langley band, this piece is a stirring opener for any concert. it works the cornets and euphoniums with long lines of semiquaver patterns, whilst giving the band a workout with the melody line.

A Highland Hymn
An original celtic style melody composed for brass band. it starts with a lone drummer before the flugel horn plays the main theme. This is an effective concert piece for all levels of bands. this piece of music featured on 'By Request' by Langley band.
